A lot goes into buying a home. The entire process can be stressful and time-consuming, but it’s our goal to alleviate this as much as possible and make moving the fun and exciting time that it should be. ‘

Your individual process may vary a bit depending on your specific needs and goals, but here is an overview of what to expect when working with an Amazing Realty agent.

Let’s meet up and figure out what your goals and needs are. Don’t worry if you aren’t sure what you’d like to do – your agent can walk you through it all. This is a great time to interview us, ask any questions, and talk about what you expect from this experience.

If you plan to finance your purchase, it’s important to get a pre-approval before you start searching for homes. This helps to ensure you’re on track to buy and know what your budget is. Many sellers in Texas also will not accept an offer without a pre=approval. If you do not have a trusted lender, reach out to us for a recommendation.

Your agent will search for homes based on the criteria you set. From there, pick your favorites and we’ll set up time to tour the houses. We often have off-market opportunities available as well.

Once you’ve found a place you love, we’ll work with you to determine an offer price and the terms that you’d like to offer. The ideal price will vary and is determined based on comparable sales data, market conditions, and the type of home you are looking at. Your agent will negotiate with the sales agent to get you the best deal possible.

After going under contract with a property, you will likely have an option period during which you can conduct an inspection and do any due diligence needed. You may also have a variety of other contingencies. We’ll help you navigate it all, from recommending inspectors to negotiating any repairs and beyond.

We work with your inspector, appraisers, lender, title company, and other vendors to coordinate your deal and get you to closing. Your agent will be there throughout the entire process to keep you updated and manage timelines. 

Woo! You made it! We’ll coordinate your closing with you to make the process as easy as possible. Your closing will typically happen around 3-6 weeks from the date that your offer was accepted.
